The New Orleans Saints have re-signed LB Michael Mauti to a one-year deal on Monday, according to Josh Katzenstein.

Mauti, 27, is a former seventh-round pick of the Vikings back in 2013. He lasted just over two years in Minnesota before he was waived at the start of the 2015 season and later claimed by the Saints.
Mauti played out the final year of his four-year, $2.22 million contract and was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.
In 2016, Mauti appeared in eight games and recorded nine tackles, one sack and a forced fumble for the Saints.
