The Saints announced Wednesday they signed LB Drew Lewis to the 90-man roster.
Lewis, 23, wound up signing on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Colorado back in May. He agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract, but was placed on waivers in July.
Lewis caught on a few days later with the Colts before again being waived before the end of July.
During his college career at Colorado, Lewis recorded 167 tackles, five sacks, an interception, and seven pass defenses over the course of three seasons and 31 games.
