Kristian Garcia first reported that the Saints have signed LB Justin Anderson to a contract following a workout for the team on Saturday.
Anderson, 24, originally signed on with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Louisiana-Lafayette back in 2014. He spent most of the year on and off of New York’s practice squad before signing a future/reserve deal with the Vikings this past March.
He most recently played for the Cowboys, but was placed on waivers a week ago.
In 2014, Anderson appeared in two games, but didn’t record a single statistic.
