Saints Sign Three Players Including K Zach Hocker

Kristian Garic of WWL-AM in New Orleans reports that the Saints are signing K Zach Hocker, who tried out for the team during their rookie minicamp.

• Joel Erickson of the Advocate reports that New Orleans also signed Northwestern WR Kyle Prater.
• Meanwhile, Nick Underhill reports that the Saints signed OL Antonio Johnson and waived LB Stephon Sanders.

Hocker, 23, is a former seventh-round pick of the Redskins. However, he was unable to make the team’s final 53-man roster coming out of the preseason and was among their final roster cuts.

The Dolphins later signed him to a future/reserve deal in early January, but he was placed on waivers a few weeks ago.

He has yet to appear in an NFL game.
