McGlynn, 28, is a former fourth-round selection of the Philadelphia Eagles back in 2008. He last three years in Philadelphia before he was waived and later claimed off of waivers by the Bengals. Since then, McGlynn has played for the Colts and Redskins before signing on with the Chiefs in August of last year.
In 2014, McGlynn appeared in 14 games for the Chiefs, but was rated by Pro Football Focus as the worst qualifying guard in the league out of 78 players.
The Saints could use some more competition at guard heading into training camp, so we’ll have to see if he’s able to push for a roster spot this summer.
