It didn’t take long for Cole to secure a new opportunity after being released by the Jaguars a few days ago.
Cole, 28, is a former seventh-round pick of the Vikings back in 2012. He played out his rookie contract with the Vikings before re-signing to a one-year, $760,000 deal a year ago.
Cole signed a two-year, $2.6 million contract with the Jaguars back in March and was set to make base salaries of $1 million over the next two years when he was released by Jacksonville last week.
In 2016, Cole appeared in all 16 games for the Vikings and recorded 12 tackles.
