Seahawks GM Johnย Schneider mentioned that they will listen to offers for QBย Matt Flynn.
“We are open to anything,” said Schneider, per Adam Schein. “Blessed to have Matt. I’d be lying if I told you we wouldn’t listen to people.”

Seahawks head coachย Pete Carrollย mentioned that they discussed the possibility of adding a quarterback with a similar skill set to that of Russell Wilson, which is obviously the exact opposite of Matt Flynn.
โWeโve talked a lot about that,โ Carroll said, via theย Tacoma News Tribune.. โIt would be nice to have another guy that might be able to be a factor that way. Thereโs some really good kids out there. Weโll see.โ
Flynn signed a three year deal worthย $19.5 million last year andย there are not a lot of options at quarterback on the open market, so it’s conceivable that Seattle could find some interest in Flynn.
Carroll also mentioned that they would like to add another pass rusher during the offseason and added that they’ll reevaluate DT Jason Jones, who is set to become an unrestricted free agent in the coming months.

I would first try to move Flynn, then offer him a chance to be the back up with a reworked contract, 3rd and final option, release him. You got the qb, you need a great back up. Getting Trevor Pryor from the Raiders. trade a 3rd round pick. or swap matt flynn.
