Seahawks WR George Farmer mentioned that he has been promoted to their active roster on Wednesday, per Curtis Crabtree.
- Seahawks signed RB Malcolm Johnson to their practice squad.
Farmer, 23, originally signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of USC back in May of last year. He was waived during the preseason and signed on to the Seahawks practice squad at the start of the regular season.
Farmer returned to the Seahawks on a future/reserve contract this past January but was once again waived at the start of the season. He has been on and off of their practice squad.
Farmer has yet to appear in an NFL game.
