The Seattle Seahawks have re-signed QB Alex McGough to their practice squad on Monday, according to Eric Edholm.
In fact, Edholm adds that Seattle is paying McGough his full base salary under his prior deal to be on their taxi squad.
The Seahawks’ practice squad now consists of:
- QB Alex McGough
- WR Caleb Scott
- WR Keenan Reynolds
- CB Akeem King
- RB Lavon Coleman
- LB Antwione Williams
- DT Frank Herron
- G Jordan Roos
- T Elijah Nkansah
- TE Marcus Lucas
McGough, 22, was selected by the Seahawks in the seventh round of this year’s draft. He signed a four-year, $2,563,692 with Seattle but wound up being among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.
During his four-year college career at Florida International, McGough threw for 9,091 yards while completing 60.4 percent of his passes to go along with 65 touchdowns and 37 interceptions over the course of 46 games.
