Seahawks Waive DB Jordan Simone, Sign OT Darrell Brown

The Seattle Seahawks officially signed OT Darrell Brown and placed DB Jordan Simone on waivers Sunday.

Simone, 25, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Arizona State back in May. He stands to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract.

During his college career at Arizona State, Simone recorded 191 tackles, 13.5 tackles for a loss, five sacks, four interceptions, a forced fumble, two recoveries and four two pass defenses over the course of two seasons and 22 games.
