According to Albert Breer, the Seahawks brought in six defensive players for workouts on Tuesday including veteran DT Damon Harrison.
The full list of tryouts includes:
- LB Mychal Kendricks
- DB DeMarkus Acy
- LB Ray-Ray Armstrong
- LB Michael Divinity
- DT Damon Harrison
- LB Jeff Holland
Seattle has looked at adding some help at defensive tackle and Harrison is an established two-down player.
Back in July, Harrison said in an interview he was taking his time and was looking to join โa winning programโ for the upcoming season.
Harrison, 31, originally signed on with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of William Penn back in 2012. He spent four years with the Jets before departing in free agency for a five-year, $46.25 million contract with the Giants.
The Giants later traded Harrison to the Lions. He was entering the fourth year of his five-year, $46.25 million deal when he agreed to a one-year, $11 million extension last year.
Detroit released him in February.
In 2019, Harrison appeared in 15 games for the Lions and recorded 48 tackles, two sacks and three pass defenses.
We have him included in our Top 50 Available 2020 Free Agents list.
