Stanford RB Christian McCaffrey announced that he’s entering the 2017 NFL Draft on Wednesday via his Twitter account.
After three incredible years at Stanford, I've decided to enter the 2017 NFL draft. #BlessedByTheBest

A report from Tuesday said that McCaffrey planned to forgo his final year of eligibilityย and enter the draft, so this doesn’t come as a big surprise.
McCaffrey has been in the discussion to be a first-round pick dating back to last year when he was a Heisman trophy candidate. He joins what is shaping up to be a very impressive running back class, so it will be interesting to see where McCaffrey lands next year.
During his college career at Stanford, McCaffrey rushed for 3,915 yards on 631 carries (6.2 YPC) to go along with 100 receptions for 1,213 yards receiving and 31 total touchdowns over the course of 37 games.
