The Pittsburgh Steelers officially promoted C Patrick Morris to their active roster on Thursday.
The Steelers have an open roster spot after placing C Maurkice Pouncey on the suspended list.
Morris, 24, wound up going undrafted out of TCU back in 2018. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract with the Steelers.
Morris spent his rookie season on the Steelers’ practice squad before returning to Pittsburgh this past January on a futures contract. The Steelers once again added him to their taxi squad at the start of the 2019 season.
Morris has yet to appear in an NFL game.
