The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Friday that they’ve signed LB Robert Spillane and RB Malik Williams to contracts for the 2019 season.
Williams, 22, wound up signing on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Louisville back in May of last year. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract with the Falcons, but was waived coming out of the preseason with an injury settlement.
During his college career at Louisville, Williams rushed for 676 yards on 86 carries (7.9 YPC) to go along with 15 receptions for 143 yards receiving and five total touchdowns over the course of two seasons and 22 games played.
