Steelers Sign Undrafted Rookies TE Paul Lang & LB Kevin Anderson, Cut Two

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced that they’ve signed TE Paul Lang and LB Kevin Anderson and waived TE Jay Rome and LB Tyriq McCord.

Both Rome and McCord signed on with the Steelers shortly after this year’s NFL draft.

Lang wound up going undrafted out of Michigan State this year, so this will be his first opportunity with an NFL team.

During his four years at MSU, Lang recorded 15 receptions for 136 yards receiving and one touchdown.

Anderson also went undrafted over a month ago out of Stanford. The 49ers signed him to a contract, but he was placed on waivers following their rookie minicamp.

During his four-year college career, Anderson recorded 114 tackles, 26.5 tackles for a loss, 10.5 sacks, a forced fumbles, two recoveries, an interception and a pass defense.
