The Houston Texans announced Wednesday that they’ve placed S Mike Tyson on injured reserve signed S A.J. Hendy off of the Chargers’ practice squad.
Tyson, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2017. He was waived coming out of the preseason last year before signing on to the Seahawks practice squad and eventually being promoted in December.
The Seahawks, once again, waived Tyson at the start of the regular season and he elected to sign on to the Texans’ practice squad. Houston promoted him to their active roster in October.
In 2018, Tyson appeared in 10 games for the Texans and recorded five tackles, no interceptions and a pass defense.
