Texans Place TE C.J. Fiedorowicz & WR Bruce Elleington On IR, Promote Two

The Houston Texans announced Tuesday that they’ve placed TE C.J. Fiedorowicz and WR Bruce Ellington on injured reserve and promoted TE MyCole Pruitt and WR DeAndrew White to their active roster.

  • The Texans also signed WR Devin Lucien and CB Josh Thornton to their practice squad.

The Texans’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. CB Bryce Jones
  2. G David Quessenberry
  3. CB Dee Virgin
  4. LB Kennan Gilchrist
  5. G Dorian Johnson
  6. RB Troymaine Pope
  7. TE Ryan Malleck
  8. QB Taylor Heinicke
  9. WR Devin Lucien
  10. CB Josh Thornton

Fiedorowicz, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Texans back in 2014. He was in the final year of his four-year, $3.95 million contract and was to make a base salary of $831,810 for the 2017 season when the Texans recently signed him to a brand new three-year, $21.5 million extension with $10 million guaranteed.

Fiedorowicz was placed on injured reserve with a concussion back in September before he was activated last month.

In 2017, Fiedorowicz appeared in five games for the Texans and caught 14 passes for 127 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
