The Houston Texans announced Monday that they’ve officially signed nine undrafted free agents to contracts.

- Jamir Jones/LB/Notre Dame
- Dylan Stapleton/TE/James Madison
- Scott Phillips/RB/Ole Miss
- Tyler Simmons/WR/Georgia
- Elex Woodworth/OL/North Texas
- Jan Johnson/LB/Penn State
- Nick Tiano/QB/UT-Chattanooga
Johnson, 24, wound up going undrafted out of Penn State. He started 26 games and was an honorable All-Big-Ten mention.
For his career, Johnson recorded 150 tackles, seven tackles for a loss, 1.5 sacks, a forced fumble, two interceptions and five passes defended over the course of four seasons and 33 games.
