Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports that the Texans worked out former 49ers G Joshua Garnett on Friday.
Houston didn’t sign Garnett to a contract following the tryout, but he’s at least worth keeping an eye on as a potential addition for the Texans.
Since becoming available, Garnett has also worked out for the Titans.
Garnett, 25, is a former first-round pick by the 49ers in the 2016 NFL Draft. He was entering the second year of a four year $9.304 million rookie contract when the 49ers waived him coming out of the preseason.
Garnett has worked his way back from an offseason knee scope.
In 2018, Garnett appeared in seven games for the 49ers.
