Calvin Watkins of ESPN Dallas reports on Twitter that the Dallas Cowboys have no interest in trading for Cleveland Browns quarterback Colt McCoy.
It wouldn’t make a lot of sense to trade a player or pick(s) to acquire a QB to be a third-stringer, so this is not surprising.

Tony Grossi ofย ESPN Clevelandย writes that the New Orleansย Saints are the “right fit” for Browns QB Colt McCoy, now that Chase Daniel is out with a hairline fracture to his right thumb.
Grossi looks at a number of other options for the Browns and McCoy, but he sees the Saints as the best option.
The Packers have been linked to McCoy since days before the draft, but Green Bay has said that they would like to see what they have in Graham Harrell during the preseason. A terrible showing by Graham could force them to reconsider their backup options. Cleveland is reportedly willing to lower the asking price for McCoy, so it will be interesting to see if trade talks pick up as the preseason draws closer.
