According to Ian Rapoport, Oklahoma WR Marquise Brown and Clemson DE Clelin Ferrell are both visiting the Titans for their final pre-draft visits.
The Titans are in need of both a big-play wide receiver and a consistent pass rusher. Both Brown and Ferrell are strong contenders to be available for the Titans with the No. 19 pick in the first round.
Brown is considered to be one of the top receiver prospects in this year’s draft class and has drawn comparisons to John Brown and DeSean Jackson for his speed.
Brown could go as high as the first round, but a Lisfranc injury that kept him out of the Combine could lead to him being available on Day 2.
During his college career at Oklahoma, Brown caught 132 passes for 2,413 yards receiving and 17 touchdowns over the course of two seasons and 25 games.
Ferrell, 6-5, 260lb, is widely considered to be one of the top edge rushers this year’s draft class, and it would not be surprising to see him end up as a top 10-15 pick when all is said and done.
During his college career at Clemson, Ferrell recorded 166 tackles, 50.5 tackles for a loss, 27 sacks, five forced fumbles, a fumble recovery returned for a touchdown and five pass defenses over the course of 44 games.
