Jim Wyattย of the Nashville Tennessean tweets that he expects theย Titans to start QBย Matt Hasselbeck against the Colts in Week 8.
Hasselbeck has led the team to a 2-1 record whileย Jake Locker has been nursing a shoulder injury. Their offense has also made strides withย Hasselbeck under center, so it’s at least fair to wonder whether or not they would consider sticking with the hot-hand, rather than throw Locker back in the mix.
Head coachย Mike Munchak mentioned that he’s not concerned about the team’s record withย Hasselbeck, in regards to a possible quarterback change.
“No matter what happened (Sunday),” Munchak said, via theย Nashville Tennessean.ย “Nothing was going to change on Jakeโs situation.”
The Titans clearly want to give Locker the opportunity to develop this season, even if that means disrupting their current progress.
