Titans Sign WR Brandon Shippen & CB Jarell Carter, Cut Two

The Tennessee Titans announced Thursday that they’ve signed WR Brandon Shippen and CB Jarell Carter and placed WR Zach Pascal and CB Jeremy Boykins on waivers.

Shippen, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Temple back in May of 2016. Unfortunately, the Dolphins elected to cut him loose during the final week of the preseason.

The Rams signed Shippen to their practice squad toward the end of last season and brought him back on a future/reserve contract last year. However, he was once again waived at the start of the regular season.

During his college career, Shippen caught 32 passes for 453 yards receiving and two touchdowns over the course of 28 games. He also contributed 48 yards rushing on eight carries.
