The Tennessee Titans have waived OLB Jonathan Massaquoi and ILB Justin Staples on Sunday to make room for their new additions,
- Titans claimed DE David Bass off waivers from Bears.
- Titans claimed LB Steven Johnson off waivers from Broncos.
Massaquoi, 26, is a former fifth-round pick of the Falcons back in 2012. He still has one year remaining on his four-year, $2,268,860 rookie contract which included a base salary of $660,000 for the 2015 season.
The Titans claimed him off of waivers from the Atlanta Falcons back in March.
In 2014, he appeared in 15 games and recorded 22 tackles, two sacks, and a pass defense. Pro Football Focus has Massaquoi rated as the No. 23 defensive end in a 4-3 defense last year out of 59 qualifying players.
