The Tennessee Titans announced Monday that they’ve placed QB Alex Tanney on waivers.

Tanney, 28, originally signed on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Monmouth back in 2012. Since then, he’s had brief stints with the Cowboys, Browns and Buccaneers, Titans, Bills and Colts before being signed to the Titans’ active roster at end of last year.
He stands to make a base salary of $525,000 for the 2016 season.
Tanney has yet to appear in an NFL game.
