TRADE: Bills Trade OT Marshall Newhouse To Panthers For 2021 Conditional 7th-Rd Pick

Adam Caplan reports that the Bills are trading OT Marshall Newhouse to the Panthers on Tuesday.

According to Joe Person, the Bills receive a 2021 conditional seventh-round pick for Newhouse.

The Panthers have been managing offensive line injuries all year, so they’re clearly hoping that Newhouse will be able to help them solidify one of their tackle spots.

Newhouse, 29, is a former fifth-round pick of the Packers back in 2010. He spent three years with the Packers before signing a one-year contract with the Bengals back in March of 2013.

Newhouse spent a few years with the Giants before agreeing to a two-year, $3.5 million contract $1.55 million in 2017. He was set to make a base salary of $1.55 million for the 2018 season when the Raiders released him this offseason.

The Bills later signed Newhouse to a contract this past March.

In 2018, Newhouse has been active for three games.
