Two Prospects Eligible For 2017 Supplement Draft

Rob Rang of NFLDraftScout.com reports that there are two prospects eligible for the 2017 Supplemental Draft that will take place on Wednesday, July 12.

The two prospects available to be selected include Georgia Military DE Tavares Bingham and Western New Mexico RB Marques Rodgers.

It’s rare for anyone to be selected in a Supplemental Draft. However, the Rams did use a fifth-round pick on OT Isaiah Battle back in 2015, which was the first time a player had been taken since the Browns drafted WR Josh Gordon in 2012.

At Georga Military College, Bingham recorded 12 tackles, six tackles for a loss, three sacks, and a blocked kick over the course of six games.

Rodgers rushed for 1,352 yards on 217 carries and scored 10 touchdowns over the course of 11 games back in 2015. He also caught 61 passes for 638 yards receiving and four touchdowns that season while adding 123 punt return yards.
