The Green Bay Packers announced Wednesday that veteran G Josh Sitton is retiring from the NFL as a member of the team.
Sitton, 33, is a former fourth-round pick of the Packers back in 2008. He played eight years for the Packers before they released at the start of the 2016 season.
Sitton later signed a three-year deal with the Bears and spent two years in Chicago before they declined his option last year. The Dolphins later signed him to a two-year, $13.5 million contract before releasing him with a failed physical back in March.
For his career, Sitton appeared in 148 games and started 138 of them over the course of 11 seasons. He was a four-time Pro Bowl selection.
