Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Jets hosted free agent TE Kellen Davis for a visit in recent days.
This is the first reported interest in Davis, although the Jets have been taking a look at a number of free agents over the past week.
Davis, 29, is a former fifth-round pick of the Bears back in 2008. Since then, Davis has played for the Browns, Seahawks, and Giants before signing on with the Lions as a free agent in October of last year.
In 2014, he was limited to appearing in just six games and did not record a single statistic. Pro Football Focus has him down for playing 148 total snaps last season.
