Vikings Activate LB Kentrell Brothers, Waive G Bryan Witzmann

The Minnesota Vikings announced Friday that they’ve activated LB Kentrell Brothers from the exempt list and waived G Bryan Witzmann.

Brothers just finished serving his four-game suspension for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing substances.

Brothers, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Vikings back in 2016. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $2.57 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $630,000 and $720,000 over the final two years of the agreement.

In 2017, Brothers appeared in all 16 games for the Vikings and recorded 13 tackles and no sacks or interceptions.
