Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier announced that the Christian Ponder will take over the teams starting quarterback job, per Jason La Canfora.
McNabb didn’t exactly play poorly in Sunday’s blowout loss to the Bears but he certainly didn’t do enough to keep the job. Ponder showed some decent pocket presence and mobility but his accuracy was a bit of an issue. More playing time should help but it’s safe to say that the Vikings are at the very least more entertaining with Christian Ponder under center.
