Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Vikings do not expect RB Dalvin Cook (hamstring) to play on Sunday against the Eagles.
Rapoport says “it would take an impressive turnaround for him to be on the field.”
Cook has been limited with a hamstring injury and was considered questionable for Week 5, so this doesn’t come as a big surprise.
The Vikings will lean on Latavius Murray against the Eagles.
Cook, 23, is a former second-round pick of the Vikings back in 2017. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $6.35 million contract and set to make base salaries of $753,787 and $1.04 million over the next two years of the agreement.
In 2018, Cook has appeared in three games for the Vikings and rushed for 98 yards on 36 carries (2.7 YPC) to go along with nine receptions for 107 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
