The Minnesota Vikings have reached an agreement with first-round pick LT Matt Kalil on a four-year contract that’s worth $19.77 million.
Kalil has the potential to be a top-five tackle in the league for the next decade, while providing some protection for Christian Ponder. It’s hard to say that he’s already the Vikings best offensive lineman, but it would certainly be surprising to see him not be by the end of the 2012 season.
