According to NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero, the Vikings will host Iowa TE Noah Fant for a visit on Tuesday.
Fant is widely regarded as the top receiving tight end available in this year’s draft class and is likely to be a first-round pick in April’s draft.
Fant has reportedly drawn significant interest, with 10 pre-draft visits coming up, including with seven teams who are currently slated to pick in the top ten.
The Vikings have the No. 18 pick in the first round and Fant could be an option for them at that slot to potentially pair with TE Kyle Rudolph or replace him down the line.
Fant, 21, played three years at Iowa, catching 78 passes for 1083 yards (13.9 YPC) and 19 touchdowns in 30 games.
