The Washington Football team announced it has signed OTs Timon Parris and Rick Leonard to the practice squad.

Washington’s practice squad now includes:

  1. DT David Bada (International)
  2. CB Aaron Colvin
  3. QB Steven Montez
  4. C Ross Pierschbacher
  5. OL David Steinmetz
  6. DT Devaroe Lawrence
  7. K Kaare Vedvik
  8. TE Marcus Baugh
  9. WR Trevor Davis
  10. DB Jordan Brown

  12. WR Tony Brown
  13. DE Jalen Jelks
  14. RB Javon Leake (COVID-19)
  15. OT Timon Parris
  16. OT Rick Leonard

Parris, 25, went undrafted out of Stony Brook in 2018 before signing with Washington. He was cut by the team at the end of training camp and subsequently re-signed to the practice squad.

He was promoted to the active roster in December of 2018 and made his NFL debut. He bounced back and forth between the practice squad and active roster before Washington waived him coming out of camp in 2020. He was claimed by the Falcons. After being waived again, he caught on for a stint with the Browns practice squad before being released.

In 2019, Parris appeared in three games for Washington.

Leonard, 24, is a former fourth-round pick of the Saints back in 2018. He signed a four-year, $3.1 million contract with the Saints, but was waived coming out of the preseason and later re-signed to the team’s practice squad.

Leonard had a brief stint with the Rams before signing on to the Cardinals’ practice squad in November. He caught on with the Texans on a futures deal for the 2019 season and spent the season on the practice squad.

After signing another futures deal for 2020, Leonard was cut coming out of camp. He’s bounced on and off the Cardinals practice squad this season.

Leonard has yet to appear in an NFL game.
