The San Francisco 49ers announced Wednesday that they’ve signed LB Curtis Grant to their practice squad.
The 49ers’ practice squad now consists of:
- LB Curtis Grant
- WR Dres Anderson
- LB Marcus Rush
- TE Je’Ron Hamm
- OL Fahn Cooper
- OL Alex Balducci
- CB Prince Charles Iworah
- OL Norman Price
- RB Kelvin Taylor
- WR Chris Harper
Grant, 23, wound up signing on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Ohio State back in May of last year. He was, unfortunately, unable to make the team’s 53-man roster coming out of the preseason.
After a brief stint with the Falcons, Grant signed on with the Titans in April. However, he was waived coming out of the preseason before later signing on to the Raiders’ practice squad.
During his four years at Ohio State, Grant recorded 132 tackles, 8.5 tackles for a loss, three sacks, one interception, two fumble recoveries, and three pass defenses.
Grant has yet to appear in an NFL game.
