John Middlekauff of 957 The Game reports that the 49ers hosted free agent LB Steve Beauharnais on Saturday.
Beauharnais, 25, was taken in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL draft by the New England Patriots. Beauharnais was unfortunately unable to make the 53-man coming out of the preseason, but later signed on to the Redskins’ practice squad.
Washington wound up waiving him just days after this year’s draft.
In 2014, Beauharnais appeared in three games for Washington and recorded four total tackles.
