49ers Working Out Veteran CB Leon Hall

Cam Inman is reporting that the 49ers are bringing in veteran CB Leon Hall for a workout on Tuesday.

This is actually the second time Hall has worked out for the 49ers this year, as they brought him in shortly after this year’s draft, but didn’t sign him to a contract.

Hall, 32, is a former first-round pick of the Bengals back in 2007. He spent nine years of his NFL career with the Bengals before signing a one-year contract with the Giants last August.

In 2016, Hall appeared in 12 games and recorded 31 tackles, two sacks, an interception, a forced fumble and two pass defenses for the Giants. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 43 cornerback out of 111 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 50 Available Free Agents list.
