Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports that Chargers TE Antonio Gates was able to make through a full practice which happens to be the first time that he was able to accomplish such a task this season.
“It’s a really, really good sign,” Gates confirmed. “It actually put a smile on my face. This was a really positive day for me.”
Gates has been hampered by a plantar fasciitis injury that has effected his right foot and caused him to miss six games last year. San Diego has consistently been one of the leagues best passing offenses thanks to Phillip Rivers but having Gates on the field creates huge miss matches for opposing defenses.
The way things look right now, Gates should be ready for the start of the season.
