Bears To Sign QB Tyler Bray

Peter Schrager reports that the Bears are set to agree to terms with Chiefs free agent QB Tyler Bray.

It’s worth mentioning that Bray spent years working with new Bears HC Matt Nagy while they were together in Kansas City.

The Bears quarterback depth chart now consists of: 1) Mitch Trubisky, 2) Chase Daniel, 3) Tyler Bray.

Bray, 26, Bray, 26, wound up signing on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee back in 2015. He was entering the final year of his three-year, $1.485 million rookie contract when Bray and the Chiefs agreed to a two-year extension before the start of the 2015 season.

Bray was testing the open market for the first time in his NFL career.

In 2017, Bray appeared in one game for the Chiefs and took a knee to end the game.
