Ian Rapoport reports that the Bears are signing former 49ers DE Aaron Lynch to a one-year contract on Thursday.
Lynch, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the 49ers back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $2.418 million contract and made a base salary of $690,000 for the 2017 season.
Lynch was testing the open market for the first time in his NFL career.
In 2017, Lynch appeared in seven games and recorded nine tackles, one sack and a fumble recovery for the 49ers.
