Bears Tried Out 3 Players Including Former Packers WR Jared Abbredaris

Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports that the Bears brought in three receivers for tryouts on Monday including former Packers WR Jared Abbrederis.

The other players who tried out were Bralon Addison and Brelan Chancellor, according to Biggs.

Abbrederis, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Packers back in 2014. Green Bay placed him on injured reserve earlier in the week with a thigh contusion.

Abbrederis was in the second year of his three-year, $1.575 million contract and set to make a base salary of $525,000 for the 2016 season when he was waived from injured reserve with a settlement back in October.

In 2016, Abbrederis has appeared in five games and caught one pass for eight yards and no touchdowns for the Packers.
