Bills Interested In Working Out RB Branden Oliver

According to Mike Rodak of ESPN, the Bills have shown interest in setting up a workout with free agent RB Branden Oliver. However, Rodak adds that nothing has been scheduled with Oliver as of now.

The Bills’ interest in Oliver predates the allegations against RB LeSean McCoy that surfaced earlier this week.

Oliver, 27, originally signed on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Buffalo back in 2014. He has spent his entire career with the Chargers but missed the 2016 season due to an injury.

The Chargers declined to tender Oliver a restricted offer last year before re-signing him a few weeks later.

In 2015, Oliver appeared in eight games for the Chargers and ran for 108 yards on 31 carries (3.5 YPC) to go along with 13 receptions for 112 yards receiving and no touchdowns.

In 2017, Oliver appeared in eight games for the Chargers and rushed for 83 yards on 35 carries (2.4 YPC) to go along with six receptions for 26 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
