This is now the third trade the Browns have made in the past few hours after they’ve agreed to deals for QB Tyrod Taylor and WR Jarvis Landry.

Randall was flashed ability but has also had some issues during his tenure in Green Bay, so it’s possible he could really benefit from a change of scenario.

Randall, 25, is a former first-round pick of the Packers back in 2015. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $7.916 million contract that included $6.401 million guaranteed and set to make a base salary of $1,090,381 for the 2018 season.

The Browns will have to decide whether to pick up his fifth-year option in the coming months.

In 2017, Randall appeared in 14 games for the Packers and recorded 47 tackles, four interceptions with one being returned for a touchdown, a fumble recovery and nine pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 81 cornerback out of 120 qualifying players.
