Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay Done For Season With Wrist Injury

Ian Rapoport reports that Broncos RB Phillip Lindsay sustained significant ligament damage in his wrist during Week 16’s Monday Night game against the Raiders.

Rapoport adds that Lindsay will receive a second opinion but is expected to miss Week 17 and the Pro Bowl.

Lindsay, 24, signed on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Colorado back in May. He was able to lock down the team’s starting running back role in Week 1 and was elected to this year’s Pro Bowl after a breakout season.

In 2018, Lindsay appeared in 14 games for the Broncos and recorded 178 rushing attempts for 1,013 yards (5.7 YPC) and nine touchdowns to go along with 31 receptions for 221 yards receiving (7.1 YPC) and one touchdown. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 12 overall running back out of 61 qualifying players.
