Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Browns are hosting free agent TE Rob Housler for a visit on Wednesday.
Housler’s market has really picked up in recent weeks, given that he’s already met with the Bengals, Falcons, and Ravens.
Housler, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Cardinals who played out his rookie contract with the team.
Many expected him to be a break out player in recent years, but Bruce Arians has never utilized the tight end position all that much in his offense, which could be one of the reason why his production was limited last year.
In 2014, Housler appeared in 15 games and caught nine passes for 129 yards receiving for the Cardinals. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 48 tight end out of 67 qualifying players.
