ESPN’s Chris Mortensen mentioned that RB Peyton Hillis could be had depending on what a team is willing to give up.
“There’s a sense they could be persuaded. We’ll see,” Mort said.
Cleveland addressed this idea yesterday by stating that Hillis is not available but it would be hard for them to turn down a quality deal considering that contract negotiations have been stalled in recent weeks. Hillis will be a free agent at the end of the season so the Browns may want to take what they can get for Hillis unless they intend to franchise him at the end of the season.
