Browns Waive/Injured WR Jordan Leslie, Sign WR Bryce Treggs Off Eaglesโ€™ PS

The Cleveland Browns announced Wednesday that theyโ€™ve signed WR Bryce Treggs off of the Eaglesโ€™ practice squad and waived WR Jordan Leslie (hamstring) with an injury designation.

Should Leslie clear waivers, he would revert to the Brownsโ€™ injured reserve list.

Leslie, 25, originally signed on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of BYU back in 2015. He was among the Vikingsโ€™ roster cuts coming out of the preseason before later signing on to the Jaguarsโ€™ practice squad during the season.

The Falcons elected to sign Leslie to a future/reserve contract last year but he was once again among the final roster cuts. Leslie had a brief stint with the Titans before joining the Brownsโ€™ practice squad in October and returning to the team on a future/reserve contract this past January.

Unfortunately, the Browns cut him loose coming out of the preseason. He was later added to their practice squad before being called up a few weeks ago.

In 2017, Leslie has appeared in two games for the Browns and caught one pass for 26 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
