Cardinals Re-Sign QB Zac Dysert To Practice Squad

The Arizona Cardinals announced Wednesday that they’ve re-signed QB Zac Dysert to their practice squad.

The Cardinals’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. WR Marqius Bundy
  2. DB Trevon Hartfield
  3. CB Harlan Miller
  4. RB Elijhaa Penny
  5. OT Givens Price
  6. G Kaleb Johnson
  7. OLB Nordly Capi
  8. S Christian Bryant
  9. G Martin Wallace
  10. QB Zac Dysert

Dysert, 26, is a former seventh-round pick of the Broncos back in 2013. He was placed on waivers by the Broncos at the start of the 2014 season, but they later added him to their practice squad.

The Bears claimed Dysert off of waivers a few days before the start of the season, but he was among their final roster cuts. After that, Dysert returned to the Texans, but was on and off of their practice squad before later signing on to the Bills’ practice squad.

The Dolphins signed him to a future/reserve contract before later cutting him loose coming out of the preseason. Dysert signed on to the Cardinals’ practice squad a few days later and was promoted a few weeks ago before cutting him loose on Monday.

Dysert has yet to appear in a regular season NFL game.
