The Arizona Cardinals signed LB Derrell Johnson to a contract on Friday, according to the NFL transactions release.
Johnson signed with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of East Carolina back in May, but he was placed on waivers just a few days ago.
Johnson was a very productive player in college as he recorded 220 tackles, 34 tackles, for a loss, 18 sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception for ECU over the course of four years.
